NABA, Inc. represents the largest pool of accounting, finance, and business professionals of color in the nation. NABA members work at various expertise levels across a broad spectrum of specialties. These include controllers, business development, grant writers, cost accountants, chief financial officers, lawyers, marketing, directors of finance, program developers, financial analysts, project managers, internal and external auditors, sales, payroll managers and tax accountants, to name a few. As entry-level staff, managers, consultants, senior executives, and entrepreneurs, NABA members represent the driving force behind many corporate, governmental and educational institutions.
NABA’s success is its ability to develop and encourage professional potential and growth of our members. NABA’s overall objective is to create business leaders. Focusing on the essential skills for success, NABA offers unique value-added leadership training and professional development opportunities as well as venues for organizations and individuals to build new business. “Lifting As We Climb” is our motto and the standard we apply in our efforts to assist our members in realizing their personal, professional and economic potential through a combination of professional and personal education, leadership training, and access to professional and social networks. We are also recruiting and developing a new pool of professionals with our Accounting Awareness Programs (ACAP) for high school students and our student membership for college and university students.
